Three members of the Training Band have recently taken music exams and I am pleased to say that they all passed so a great big congratulations to

• George Perrot: Cornet Grade 1 - Distinction
• William Dodd-Moore: Cornet Grade 2 - Pass
• Christina Turner: Cornet Grade 5 - Pass
• Aina Jackson: Baritone Grade 5 - Merit
  

While you're catching your last Xmas shopping on Saturday 23rd, take a few minutes out in the Grosvenor precinct to listen to the training band? Then drop some money in the collecting boxes! :)

The TB's had a good Xmas so far, playing out at many venues and they're hoping Saturday will be as good as ever!

But Friday is still on so come along and support your local band - check events for details.

Members of the training band and friends held a grand quiz and disco on Saturday night (2nd Dec), raising £167.40 towards the 2007 trip to Disney Paris...

It's time to put our main Xmas concerts in your diary. And it's a double St Luke's on 2 Friday nights. 1st December at St Luke's church in Winnington 8th December at St Luke's church in Dunham Hill Tickets should be available on the door. Check our events pages for more details. Of course both bands are out and about throughout the area on the run-up to Xmas - again details in the diary. Come along and say hello if you hear us!
