A small group of the training band with some main band friends will be playing on the bandstand at The Groves from 2 until 4pm on Saturday afternoon.
Come along and say 'hi'. Any main band players wanting a blow are more than welcome, as we stil have many Tb members on their hols!
Friday 31st August - rehearsal is in St Paul's church hall, Helsby. Opposite the Horse and Jockey - usual time.
Monday 3rd Sept.
Joint rehearsal at St Luke's Church, Huntington - TB arrive at 1800h so anytime after that's fine....
Weds 5th. Band room
Fri 7th - rehearsal for wedding at St Mark's Church in Connah's Quay CH5 4AD

No rehearsal on bank holiday Monday (Aug 27th)
However after the bank holiday weekend the serious work starts for our CD and the Pontin's contest. Recognising the importance of the CD recording and the work required to carry it off, we're adding an additional rehearsal on a Wednesday night - each week until the 31st October. If you can't make all 3 rehearsals every week don't worry....Phil will work with the groups available. What is important is to let Paul Jones know if you can't attend a rehearsal so that Phil knows who he's getting!
It should also be noted that the intention is to move to Monday and Thursday rehearsals from January 10th. Any issues with this should be raised with a committee member.
The weekend of October 20th will see the band busy recording a CD! Hopefully ready in time for sale during our Christmas circuit the band still needs to find significant funds to complete the recording. If you're interested in being associated with our CD and would like to help with the funding, just email [email protected] :) It's not too late to suggest your favourite piece of music to go on the CD!
Monday's (13th August and 20th August) training band rehearsals are in the band room. Obviously many players are still away so if any main band members would like to come along you'd be very welcome :) - starting at 6pm...

Also please put in your diaries 2 additional rehearsal days with Phil for CD preparation: Sunday 23rd September and Sunday 7th October. Timing to be confirmed. Again please let Paul know if you can't be there.
