Members of Chester Brass gave a hand to the customers at Sainsburys (Chester) with help packing there bags on Dec23rd . The members had a warm welcome from staff and customers alike . The night raised £275.46 for the band funds a great big thank you to all .

Chester Brass Exam Success
Two members of Chester Brass have had exam success as a late Christmas gift. Matthew McCleary has passed grade 5 Baritone with Merit also he has passed grade 5 Theory and Jessica Blain has passed grade 4 Cornet . A very well done to both players keep up the good work and we will see you all in 2010.

Chester Brass held a small presentation night to say thank you to all the Volunteer's and Band Members . Every one has worked hard thoughout the year and made this year one of the best . The player's Player of the year went to Kate Harlandf for her help and commitment thoughout the year the David Else award went to Anna Ramsey who has progessed the most in the last 12mths since she joined the band . Thank you every one
Chester Brass had avery warm welcome from the locals at Saughall Christmas lights switch on . A big thanks go's out to all the Band Members who turned up on the cold / damp night to make this event a great success. The hot mince pies and soup went down a treat .

Chester Brass hits the right £note with Sainsbury's
Local Supermarket Sainsbury's gave Chester Brass a much needed cash boost this week with a donation from there Community Grant Scheme. Local store Manager Steve King handed over a Chq for £300 to Band coordinator Tony Blain and members of the band towards the cost of a new Baritone for the Band. Mr King said " it's good to see the Community Grant being used to help local organisation's".
Members of Chester Brass had a fun filled afternoon playing at the Grosvenor Garden Centre for the staff and customers while the Apple Fair was taking place with cookery demonstrations and apple pressing.
