Thanks to the Jackson family for building a pots and pans percussion set for the training band – just don’t expect any food if you visit them for the next few months. The set will be used in The Saddleworth Suite, a new piece of music the Training Band are now rehearsing. Watch this space!

The training band, under the baton of MD Paula Bell, put on a great performance at naylor Court residential home in Ellesmere Port recently. A lively 'dialogue' between Ian and the audience suggested everyone had a great time. Thanks to parents for driving, and to Les and Doug sitting-in on bass. Thanks to Leon for sitting-in on cornet.

This Saturday, 31st August, see's the band at the Ironbridge Museum Blist Hill supporting a Victorian weekend. All music played has to predate 1920!!!
